Donald Kleine is the elected Douglas County Attorney who is currently serving his third term. Prior to his election in 2006, he served as the Chief of the Criminal Bureau for the Nebraska Attorney General’s Office of Attorney General Jon Bruning. Prior to that, he served as the Chief Deputy of the Douglas County Attorney’s Office from 1991 to 2003.
Don Kleine has successfully tried many high-profile criminal cases, including Roy Ellis, Christopher Edwards, and David Burdette. More recently he received guilty convictions on two defendants that committed quadruple homicides; first Nikko Jenkins and most recently the Anthony Garcia case featured on both Dateline and 48 Hours.
YCP’s Executive Speaker Series is a program of monthly speakers in which executives share their professional and faith journeys and renew the challenge to young professionals to ‘Work in Witness for Christ!’ YCP puts special effort into securing great speakers who share practical ways to integrate faith into everyday life, especially in the workplace.

Jul15 Zoo Day We’ll meet at 1:00 PM at the main (south) entrance of Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo at 3701 S 10th St to view the animals and walk the zoo.Afterwards we will have dinner at Johnny’s Café at 4702 S 27th St.
Jul. 22Holy Family Shrine Pilgrimage and Luncheon We’ll meet at 1:00 pm at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park at 28500 W Park Hwy. and then afterwards go to the Holy Family Shrine at 23132 Pflug Rd. in Gretna (we could meet in Omaha to do a carpool, please call to arrange a carpool). Park entry permits are $6.00 a day.
Jul 29 Dinner and Baseball Night We’ll meet at 5:00 pm atPizza West at 12040 McDermott Plz. and then go to Werner Park at 12356 Ballpark Dr. (off Hwy 370) to watch the Omaha Storm Chasers face off against the Fresno Grizzlies at 7:05 pm.There is a fireworks extravaganza to watch after the game. Tickets range from $11.00 to $20.00.
Aug. 5Dinner and DancingNight We’ll meet at 6:00 pm at the Korean Garden restaurant at 5352 S. 72nd St. in Ralston and afterwards go to the Bushwacker’s Saloon and Dance Hall at 7401 Main St. in Ralston to dance the night away.
