In support of Archbishop Lucas’ Vision for the Future of Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Omaha and AdvanceED accreditation, Mary Our Queen School initiated work on a Strategic Plan in the fall of 2014. The process included the formation of a strategic planning committee, examination of the School Mission statement, surveys sent to parents, faculty / staff and students to identify school strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, formation of goals, objectives, strategies, and an action plan taken from the feedback of the stakeholders.
The strategic planning committee has completed a draft and it has been presented to the school board. Discussion of the Strategic Plan will be a topic of conversation at the three Town Hall meetings scheduled for April 30th (7 – 8 p.m.), Saturday May 2nd (9 – 10 a.m.), and May 5th (7 – 8 p.m.)
We will meet in the Trinity Rooms. We ask that at least one parent from each school family attend one of these sessions and welcome all other interested parishioners to participate.
