NATIONAL CATHOLIC YOUTH CONFERENCE:  Called

November 16-18, 2017 in Indianapolis, IN

The National Catholic Youth Conference is an exciting, biennial three-day experience of prayer, community, and empowerment for Catholic teenagers and their adult chaperones.  The schedule includes keynote addresses and workshop sessions addressing a wide variety of topics.  There are also opportunities for liturgy, reconciliation, prayer and worship, recreation and special activities such as concerts, exhibits, and the interactive thematic park.

Who can go to NCYC?    High school freshmen through seniors for the 2017-2018 school year are eligible to attend NCYC.  All registrations must be facilitated by a parish or school youth minister, pastor, or volunteer serving as the designated group leader.

We will be meeting at St. Robert’s on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, from 7:00-8:30 pm in the Community Room to discuss the conference in depth.  This will include price and payment options, schedule details, all registration information, and chaperone information.

Funeral Planning at Mary Our Queen

As much as we don’t like to dwell on death, it is a real part of our lives here on earth. As Catholics, we have a right to a Catholic funeral through the Sacrament of Baptism.

By planning your funeral in advance, you can take an active role in the liturgy and provide your family with less difficult and complicated decisions to make during a very emotional time. To learn more about how and why to plan your funeral or memorial service in advance please contact Renee Spicka, Director of Music and Liturgy.
