MarriageTo be married at Mary Our Queen, you must be a registered member of the parish for one year or have parents who are current members of the parish. Please call the Parish Office at least 6 months in advance to schedule a meeting with one of our priests to discuss marriage preparation and to set a wedding date. Please note: The Parish Office DOES NOT schedule wedding dates, nor can we check on date availability. You must meet with one of our priests to check on available wedding dates
BaptismsAll new parents, or parents who have not had a child baptized within the last two (2) years are required to attend a Baptism Preparation class. The class is held the first Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m. In the event the class falls on a holiday (i.e. Labor Day), the Baptism class is rescheduled for the Monday AFTER the holiday. Baptisms are held the second and third Sundays of the month after the 12:30 p.m. Mass (approximately 1:30 p.m.) Please call the Parish Office to arrange for a baptism date and to fill out necessary paperwork.
RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults)RCIA, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, is the process for those who want to become Catholic or, if Catholic, to receive the sacraments of Confirmation and Holy Communion, if those sacraments were missed as youths. It is an opportunity to learn more about Catholic beliefs and practices and the values that shape our lives. Anyone beyond the age of Confirmation (8th grade) may take part in the RCIA process. Contact Deacon Steve Floersch with questions and to learn how to register for the classes.
Holy Orders / Religious LifeIf you are discerning a vocation to the priesthood, deacon or religious life, please contact Fr. English, Fr. Onuoha, or Fr. Valerio at 333-8662 or Archdiocesan Vocations Director Fr. Paul Hoesing at 558-3100.
Sick CallsIf you or a family member is hospitalized or sick at home, and wish to be visited by a priest, please call the Parish Office as hospitals are no longer allowed to notify us of admissions. Only then can we make a pastoral visit, share prayer, and -- if appropriate -- celebrate the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick. Thank you for supporting our ministry.
