Young Adult Ministry
Our Young Adult Ministry mainly focuses on people (whether singles or couples) between the ages of 18 and 40 – but if you’re still “young at heart,” we won’t turn you away! We meet weekly during the school year and every other week during the summer months. Come enjoy the company of other young adults in our parish (or even from outside MOQ) as we engage in more in-depth studies, discussions and prayer about our faith and our lives as adult Catholics.
We currently are working through
Epic, a multipart DVD-based series on Catholic Church history, and studied the EWTN series
Our Father’s Plan in 2009-10.
Core Member University Information
LifeTeen, one of the major support organizations in Catholic youth ministry, will hold a “Core Member University” for youth ministers and volunteers
Saturday, Oct. 16, at St. Mary Church in West Point.
Mary Our Queen Youth Ministry has been awarded a small grant from the Omaha Archdiocese Educational Foundation to help pay for the event’s registration costs ($65 before Oct. 6; $75 after that date). Those who attend need to be at least one year past their high school graduation.
If you are currently ministering to teens or think you might want to someday, contact Todd von Kampen.
